01. Will You Save Money? Typically a real estate company will list a home for 6%. A typical commission on a $200,000 sale will be $12,000. When you list with our company, the only expense is the small listing fee and the commission that you choose for the selling agent, typically half or 3%. Remember, if you sell the home without an agent involved you automatically save this typical 3% commission to a selling agent, so you actually have sold the property and paid only the small listing fee. 02. Can You cancel the listing? Our company feels that you can cancel the listing with us without any cancellation fees or restrictions. Back To Top

03. How do You List? First review the coverage areas and choose the MLS system for your area. Second, complete the short listing agreement and click on the submit button. After submitting you will be taken to forms to enter the property information. Third, select the payment method that you prefer. After these are completed, we will email you the links to our forms library. After we receive the information online, the data is then entered into the MLS within 24 hours. Back To Top

04. How long does it take for the listing to go on the MLS? Once you submit the property information online, it takes a few hours to process, but well within the 24 hour period. Back To Top

05. Do the agents bring offers directly to You? The selling agent will present, fax, email, or mail the offer directly to you. If you find a buyer, we provide the forms needed to write the offer in our forms library. Back To Top

06. How long can You list the property? We believe you should be able to list the property as long as it takes without any additional fees. Our forms allow you to list for up to six months, but if you should need to extend the listing for additional six month periods, our online forms allow you to submit the free extensions. Back To Top

07. Can You change the listing price? Yes, our online forms allow you to change the listing price at anytime, without any additional fees. Back To Top

08. Can You do an Open House? Yes, we will enter the open house information on the MLS, just complete the online form for an open house. No charge for this service. Back To Top

09. Do You notify Home Discovery Realtors of a contract? Yes, within 48 hours. We will need to enter the information into the MLS. A phone call to us will alert us to the contract and online forms are available to provide the information. Also we will need a copy of the contract for our files, you can usually just ask the agent to fax/email a copy to our office. Back To Top
